Reliance Capital rose 3.93% to Rs 614.35 at 14:34 IST on BSE on bargain hunting after the stock slipped 11.05% in the preceding four trading sessions to Rs 591.10 on 13 June 2014, from a recent high of Rs 664.55 on 9 June 2014.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 16.15 points, or 0.06%, to 25,212.02.
On BSE, so far 12.16 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 9.89 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 616.40 and a low of Rs 577.50 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 668.40 on 9 June 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 290 on 28 August 2013.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 13 June 2014, rising 52.15% compared with 5.68% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 82.64% as against Sensex's 15.86% rise.
