SJVN standalone net profit rises 93.26% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 0.11% to Rs 381.93 crore

Net profit of SJVN rose 93.26% to Rs 281.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 145.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 0.11% to Rs 381.93 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 381.51 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.72% to Rs 1544.14 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1407.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 0.60% to Rs 2446.06 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2460.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
