Volumes jump at Apcotex Industries counter

Escorts, Persistent Systems, Rane Holdings and Emami are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 1 December 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 30.48 points, or 0.09% to 33,118.87.

Apcotex Industries clocked volume of 1.31 lakh shares by 13:23 IST on BSE, a 116.18-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 4.61% to Rs 497.45.

Escorts notched up volume of 73.11 lakh shares, a 89.40-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 82,000 shares. The stock fell 2.21% to Rs 701.15.

Persistent Systems saw volume of 3.21 lakh shares, a 62.41-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock rose 0.64% to Rs 657.

 

Rane Holdings clocked volume of 42,000 shares, a 49.57-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 1.57% to Rs 1,805.

Emami saw volume of 1.56 lakh shares, a 18.40-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 8,000 shares. The stock rose 0.04% to Rs 1,303.65.
