Volumes jump at APL Apollo Tubes counter

TRF, Havells India, BEML and Escorts are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 6 December 2013.

APL Apollo Tubes clocked volume of 6.23 lakh shares by 13:34 IST on BSE, a 694.11-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock lost 0.5% at Rs 149.25.

TRF notched up volume of 4.35 lakh shares, a 12.52-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 35,000 shares. The stock spurted 17.32% to Rs 133.45.

Havells India saw volume of 2.06 lakh shares, a 6.99-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock rose 0.41% to Rs 755.80.

 

BEML clocked volume of 3.04 lakh shares, a 5.42-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 56,000 shares. The stock surged 6.27% to Rs 208.35.

Escorts saw volume of 13.78 lakh shares, a 3.23-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.26 lakh shares. The stock jumped 8.47% to Rs 128.10.
