Volumes jump at BASF India counter

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals, PG Electroplast, Jamna Auto Industries and Sanwaria Consumer are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 6 October 2017.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 178.83 points, or 0.57% to 31,770.86.
BASF India clocked volume of 36,000 shares by 13:02 IST on BSE, a 19.63-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 16.73% to Rs 1,717.
Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals notched up volume of 12.02 lakh shares, a 17.77-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 68,000 shares. The stock fell 0.87% to Rs 143.15.
PG Electroplast saw volume of 3.42 lakh shares, a 10.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 34,000 shares. The stock rose 5.29% to Rs 401.25.

Jamna Auto Industries clocked volume of 8.48 lakh shares, a 10.05-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 84,000 shares. The stock rose 11.65% to Rs 61.80.
Sanwaria Consumer saw volume of 63.26 lakh shares, a 7.58-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 8.34 lakh shares. The stock rose 4.92% to Rs 8.95.
