Emami clocked volume of 3.06 lakh shares by 13:48 IST on BSE, a 122.57-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock advanced 1.57% at Rs 1,127.
Aries Agro notched up volume of 6.41 lakh shares, a 68.16-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock jumped 12.42% at Rs 170.60.
Mphasis saw volume of 4.40 lakh shares, a 51.34-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock advanced 3.18% at Rs 630.50.
Somany Ceramics clocked volume of 79,000 shares, a 47.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 1.1% to Rs 849.35.
Kennametal India saw volume of 88,000 shares, a 34.82-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock surged 4.64% at Rs 638.
