Religare Enterprises clocked volume of 1.80 lakh shares by 13:48 IST on BSE, a 626.36 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 288 shares. The stock rose 3.19% at Rs 285.
MphasiS notched up volume of 1.30 lakh shares, a 19.22-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,759 shares. The stock gained 2.5% at Rs 469.
Kotak Mahindra Bank saw volume of 31.31 lakh shares, a 15.57-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.01 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.02% at Rs 639.80.
Welspun India clocked volume of 1.90 lakh shares, a 11.75-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock fell 2.31% at Rs 939.95.
Usha Martin saw volume of 41.62 lakh shares, a 6.32-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 6.59 lakh shares. The stock was locked in 10% upper cicruit at Rs 13.06.
