Merck notched up volume of 1.03 lakh shares, a 14.42-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock rose 3.85% at Rs 802.70.
APL Apollo Tubes saw volume of 1.57 lakh shares, a 9.64-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock jumped 5.58% at Rs 345.10.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering clocked volume of 14.17 lakh shares, a 9.47-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.50 lakh shares. The stock spurted 7% to Rs 97.80.
