Waterbase fell 3.55% to Rs 323.50 at 15:16 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit booking after recent stellar rally.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 75.62 points or 0.22% at 33,761.12.
On the BSE, 5.61 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.65 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 349.90 and a low of Rs 320 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 361.50 yesterday, 19 December 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 76 on 27 December 2016.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 41.43 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Shares of Waterbase had rallied 75.97% in the preceding seven trading sessions to settle at Rs 335.40 yesterday, 19 December 2017, from its closing of Rs 190.60 on 8 December 2017.
