14 killed in Iraq suicide attack

At least 14 people were killed and 20 others injured on Sunday in a suicide attack in Iraq's Shia-majority district of Kadhmiyah.

The attack occurred during the morning rush hour when the suicide bomber detonated his explosives-laden vest at a crowded checkpoint near Adan Square, Xinhua news agency reported.

The blast destroyed several civilian vehicles.
