2 killed in J&K attack

Two people were killed and six others injured on Thursday when militants attacked security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, police said.

The forces were returning from a search operation in Kungoo village when they were attacked at.

"The victims comprised a soldier and a civilian. Reinforcements were immediately rushed to surround the area and track the militants," the police added.
