40 houses gutted in Delhi slum fire

At least 40 huts were gutted in a fire here Friday, the Delhi Fire Service said Friday.

The fire began in one of the huts at Shastri Park area and the blaze soon spread and engulfed many other adjoining huts, an official said. Fourteen fire tenders battled the blaze for an hour.
