5.0-magnitude quake hits Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 31km north-northeast of Bitung city in Indonesia on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey has said.
The epicentre, with a depth of 118.17 km, was initially determined to be at 1.6873 degrees north latitude and 125.3344 degrees east longitude, Xinhua reported.
