A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted western Myanmar on Friday, the US Geological Survey said.
The quake, which occurred 01.33 a.m. (local time), was centred 52 km northwest of Monywa with a depth of 22.42 km.
Monywa is a city in Sagaing region of Myanmar.
