6.7-magnitude quake hits Ecuador

Ecuador was hit by a deadly earthquake in April in which hundreds died

An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale hit Rosa Zarate in Ecuador on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined at 0.41 degrees north latitude and 79.764 degrees west longitude.
