As many as 75 people Monday crossed the Line of Control (LoC) across the Aman Setu bridge in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district as part of the Karvan-e-Aman (caravan of peace) between the parts of divided Kashmir, an official said.

"Of these, 42 are residents of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir who came here today (Monday) to meet members of their divided families. Five people crossed over to Muzaffarabad from our side to unite with members of their families living there," a senior official told IANS on phone from Baramulla town.

Meanwhile, 24 people returned home to Pakistan-administered Kashmir from the Kashmir Valley, while four people returned here.

The Karvan-e-Aman peace bus service was started in 2005 between Indian and Pakistan administered parts of Kashmir as a confidence-building measure between the two countries that aims at re-uniting members of divided families on two sides of the LoC.
