An Indian Air Force personnel was arrested here Wednesday for raping a lady doctor, police said.
Police said Muzaffar Wani was in a live-in relationship with the doctor for some time and both hail from Jammu and Kashmir.
"Wani is posted in Delhi and has been known to the victim," a senior police official told IANS.
Wani, 30, was presented before a court and was sent to judicial custody.
The woman doctor, 28, is employed at a private hospital here. "The victim lives in Carterpuri area in the city and hails from Chari Sharief in J&K," said the police official.
