Mixed martial artist and actor Alex Reid says he can empathise with transgender people like reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner because of his transvestite tendencies.
The former "Celebrity Big Brother" winner, who was previously married to TV personality Katie Price, has a female alter ego named Roxanne and has been open about his penchant for dressing in women's clothes, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Ever since I was a child I've been happy to dress up and play different characters," Reid told Star magazine.
"Bruce (Caitlyn's previous name) was mocked because trans people are the last social taboo. We don't have the same rights. Wow, I just said 'we'. I guess I am. Why not be trans?" he added.
