Army chief inaugurates Cardio Thoracic Vascular Clinic

Chief of the Army Staff General Dalbir Singh on Saturday inaugurated the Cardio Thoracic Vascular Clinic as a part of the newly constructed 200 bedded Science Centre in the premises of Army Hospital.

The event was attended by dignitaries from the Armed Forces and the Veterans.

The Centre has been established to combat the increase in incidence of lifestyle diseases and would go a long way in extending cardio treatment to the army veterans and their dependents, a defence ministry statement said.
