Army driver arrested after woman dies in Kashmir accident

An army driver was arrested in Bandipora district in North Kashmir after he hit a woman with his vehicle, leading to her death, Thursday.

A police statement issued here today said: "A woman died after she was hit by an Army vehicle near Police Station Bandipora today."

"Police have seized the vehicle and arrested the driver of the vehicle," the statement said.

Bandipora police have registered a case in this regard.
