The Indian Army on Friday foiled an infiltration bid at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, an official said.
The infiltration bid was foiled in Machil sector of Kupwara district, a defence spokesperson said in a statement, adding that one militant was killed during the gunfight and a search operation was still on in the area.
