Actor Arunoday Singh, who is playing one of the leads in the musical "Sound of Music", is all set to make his singing debut.
The actor is training to hone his skills for live singing under the assistance and tutoring of Marianne.
"She gets my voice where it needs to be. I think I manage the modulations quite well. Although when I started, I sounded like gravel being crushed for live singing," Arunoday said in a statement.
He will be seen playing Captain Von Trapp in the musical. The show, produced by theatre personality Raell Padamsee, is going in for its second run from Friday onwards at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai.
Actress Meher Mistry essays the female lead in the musical, which is inspired by the 1965 film classic "The Sound of Music".
