Private sector Axis Bank on Friday said it closed the first quarter of the current fiscal with a net profit of Rs.1,555.53 crore as compared to Rs. 1,978.44 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
In a regulatory filing in BSE, the bank also said its total income has increased from Rs 12,234.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 to Rs 13,852.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
