Barcelona's Correia receives medical clearance

Barcelona defender Adriano Correia was on Wednesday given a medical discharge after completing the training session with the rest of his teammates, the football club said in a statement.

Correia suffered a muscle injury 10 days ago in the hamstring of his right leg that prevented him from playing against Real Madrid in La Liga and Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, reports Efe.

However, the Brazilian player will be available for the next La Liga game against Real Sociedad on Saturday in Anoeta Stadium.
