Bus crashes into supermarket, two die

Two people were killed when a double-decker bus crashed into a supermarket in England's Coventry city, police said.

An eight-year-old boy travelling on the top of the bus died at the scene as a result of his injuries, while a woman, believed to be a pedestrian in her 70s, also died at the scene, police said.

The collision occurred after the bus collided with a number of stationary cars and a lamppost before crashing into a Sainsbury supermarket, Xinhua reported.
