The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday searched the premises of Tamil Nadu Waqf Board (TNWB) Chairman and AIADMK MP Anwhar Raajhaa, an official said.
The CBI also searched the Madurai premises of Jamal Mohideen, the then Secretary (in-charge) and Correspondent of Madurai M.S.S. Wakf Board College.
The search operations were carried out in Raajhaa's premises in Chennai and Ramanathapuram.
The CBI raids were carried out in connection with an alleged recruitment scam. The CBI had registered a case on the orders of the Madras High Court.
