Centre announces package for apple growers
The union cabinet on Thursday approved a financial package of Rs 500 crore for apple growers of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, Jitender Singh, told the media that the fund formed part of a special package.
He said 21,000 apple growers would benefit from the package.
