China executes child killer

A man who killed three children in a primary school knife attack in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region three years ago was executed Tuesday.

Wu Yechang was found guilty of the triple murder and sentenced to death by the Guigang Intermediate People's Court in January 2014, Xinhua news agency reported.

The sentence was approved by the autonomous region's high court and the Supreme People's Court.

Thirteen other children were injured in Wu's attack.
