China stocks open higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened higher Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,179.83 points, up 1.88 points, or 0.09 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,828.35, up 19.69 points, or 0.25 percent, reported Xinhua.
