Cloudy Sunday morning in Delhi, day to get hotter

It was a pleasant and cloudy Sunday morning here, however the day wass expected to get hotter, weather office said.

The minimum temperature recorded at 26.1 degree celsius, average for this time of the season while the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degree Celsius.

"The sky would remain generally cloudy but there are no chances of rain," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m was 79 per cent.

According to the weather office, the rainfall recorded for past 24 hours was nill.

Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature remained 27.6 degrees.
