Conveys greetings to Brazil on her Independence Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday said that Brazil was a "key global partner" and India was committed to enhancing its ties with the country.

Extending his greetings to the people of Brazil on its Independence Day, Modi said: "On their nation's Independence Day, I convey my greetings to the people of Brazil."

"We are committed to enhancing our ties with Brazil. Brazil is a key global partner for India and we are determined to harness the vast potential for cooperation between our nations," he added.
