Deepak Mehrotra appointed Pearson's India MD

Education company Pearson Thursday appointed Deepak Mehrotra as the new managing director for its India business, a company statement said here.

He will be joining Pearson Education from Monday, Oct 21.

He was previously associated with Micromax as chief executive officer for the last two years. Prior to that, he has served as executive director-mobility for north, west and south regions at Bharti Airtel.

Pearson Education is the leader in education publishing and is present in over 70 countries.
