The week ended on a pleasant and nippy note in the national capital Sunday as the maximum temperature settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
Similar weather is expected Monday, the Met Office said.
"There will be light fog early tomorrow (Monday) morning but the sky will remain clear through the day and the light fog will return in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 9 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum humidity settled at 78 percent.
Sunday morning saw veil of fog and the minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
Saturday's maximum temperature was 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum was 10.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
