Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Tuesday met President Pranab Mukherjee and is learnt to have apprised him about the issues related to posting of senior bureaucrats in the city government, sources said.
The turf war between the Arvind Kejriwal government and the Lt. Governor over postings and transfers of bureaucrats intensified on Monday.
Jung in a letter on Monday rejected the handing over of the additional charge of principal secretary (services) Anindo Majumdar to Rajendra Kumar, who is secretary to the chief minster.
