Delhi teenager commits suicide

Apparently unsuccessful in his advances towards a girl, 17-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his house here, police said Thursday. He has written a girl's name on his arm with a knife.

The hanging body of Mandeep was spotted by his mother, police said.

No suicide note was found but a girl's name was inscribed on his arm with a knife, said an officer.

Police said Mandeep, a Class 12 student, was depressed as the girl spurned him.
