England declared their first innings at 569 for seven on the second day of the third cricket Test against India at The Rose Bowl here Monday.

Ian Bell was the top scorer with 167 while Gary Ballance struck 156.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the most successful Indian bowler picking up 3/101.
