Explosion, fire rock Indian submarine

A huge explosion accompanied by a fire rocked an Indian Navy submarine docked in the high security naval dockyard here early Wednesday, officials said.

The devastation took place shortly after midnight on INS Sindhurakshak submarine. Many sailors on board reportedly jumped off to safety, a defence ministry source said.
