Private sector Federal Bank closed its second quarter with a lower profit on a higher income, the bank said on Tuesday.
In a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Federal Bank said it has posted a net profit of Rs.161.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015, as compared to Rs.240.30 crore posted for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
Total income has increased from Rs.2,065.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, to Rs.2,084.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
