Five die in Kashmir road accident

Five people were killed Tuesday when a taxi in which they were travelling rolled down a hill and plunged into a river in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

The accident took place at Drabshal in Kishtwar district, 210 km from Jammu.

"The driver lost control of the Tata Sumo taxi. It fell into the Chenab river," a police official said. Rescuers found five bodies. Two passengers were reported missing.
