Five killed in Uttar Pradesh road accident

Five people, including three women, were killed and four others injured Wednesday when the driver of a speeding SUV lost control over the vehicle and rammed it into a tree in Uttar Pradesh, police said.

The driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a steep turn in Mamna village in Mahoba district, 230 km from Lucknow, police said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital. The passengers, who hail from Madhya Pradesh, were going to Allahabad.
