Guerrillas attack police station in Kashmir

A gunfight was underway between police and separatist guerrillas who attacked a police station in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Tuesday, police said.

"Militants started firing at Yaripora police station in Kulgam today (Tuesday) evening. Security forces returned the militants' fire.

"Till last reports came in, firing exchanges were still going on there," a senior police officer said here.
