The Atlanta Hawks lost to No.1 Eastern seed Indiana Pacers 88-91, and head coach Mike Budenholzer said his team needed to execute their plan better.

"Our group competed and put themselves in a position to win," said Budenholzer after the loss Saturday, reports Xinhua

"Our execution wasn't where it needed to be and we'll all work on that and look to improve as we execute down the stretch."

"When it slows down and we're not playing at the pace where we'd like to be, anytime an NBA game slows down, it can appear more physical."

The Hawks visit the Pacers Monday.
