Hero MotoCorp, Power Grid ink pacts with Gurugram for CSR projects

Two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp and state-run power utility Power Grid Corporation of India have signed pacts with the Gurugram district administration to implement projects as part of their corporate social responsibility, a government official said on Thursday.

Under the agreement, Hero MotoCorp will upgrade 50 Anganwadi centres into pre-schools, the official said.

PGCIL will renovate the district library at an expenditure of Rs 75 lakh.
