It was a hot, sunny Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 25 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.

According to the weather office, the sky would remain clear throughout the day.

The maximum temperature would hover around 37 degrees Celsius.

The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 62 percent.

Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
