IAEA chief arrives in Pakistan

(IAEA) arrived in on Monday on a three-day visit.

During his stay, he will visit various centres of Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) in Islamabad, and Karachi, quoted a PAEC statement as saying.

As a founding member of IAEA, has deep cooperation with the organisation in areas of nuclear power, industrial application of nuclear techniques, non-destructive testing, and agriculture, soil improvement, induced mutation, oncology and nuclear medicines, environmental protection and isotope hydrology, the statement said.

The IAEA is the international centre for cooperation in the nuclear field. The agency works with its members and multiple partners worldwide to promote the peaceful use of
