Independence Day celebrated in Jharkhand

The Independence Day was celebrated in Jharkhand on Monday with patriotic fervour amid heavy security arrangements.

Jharkhand Governor Draupdi Murmu hoisted national flag in Dumka and Chief Minister Raghubar Das at Morabadi Ground of capital city Ranchi.

India's largest tricolor was hoisted at the Pahari temple in Ranchi.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that his government has provided a clean, sensitive and transparent governance to the state.
