British foreign secretary Philip Hammond has expressed serious concern over the suspension of the dialogue process between New Delhi and Islamabad and urged them to resolve all the remaining issues at the negotiating table.

Philip Hammond said Britain reiterates that the two South Asian nuclear arch-rivals should resolve all their issues with dialogue, The Daily Times reported on Saturday.

The British diplomat in a meeting with Pakistani Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in London advocated his view that "India must understand the dialogue process cannot proceed further without discussions on the issue of Kashmir.

"Without furthering dialogue there can be no peace in the region."

Nisar added that India was trying to sabotage the efforts for peace on one pretext or the other and is putting regional security and stability at stake.
