Iraqi forces kill eight Islamic State militants

Eight militants of the Islamic State (IS) Sunni insurgent group were killed Thursday in an Iraqi air raid, MENA news agency reported citing a local security source.

The source added that the Iraqi air force, in coordination with the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Force, launched an air strike against a group of IS militants northeast of Baquba, leaving eight of them dead.
