IT searches sand mining firm V.V. Minerals
A team of Income Tax Department officials on Thursday searched the business and other premises of beach sand mineral mining firm V.V. Minerals for tax evasion, said an official.
According to sources, about 100 locations belonging to the firm are being searched. The company is promoted by Tuticorin based S.Vaikundarajan.
The searches are being carried out on the business premises of the group in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
