Janet Reno, first female US Attorney General, dies at 78

Former US Attorney General Janet Reno died on Monday, her sister, Maggy Hurchalla, told CNN.
She was 78 and has been suffering from Parkinson's disease for two decades, EFE news reported.
Reno, who served as the nation's top law enforcement officer from 1993 to 2001, dealt with major terrorism cases, such as the "Unabomber", a two-decade bombing campaign by Ted Kaczynski, as well as the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing carried out by Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols.
She was also in-charge of investigating Omar Abdel Rahman, who was accused of plotting the February 1993 attack on New York's World Trade Centre.
